Bee Restoration Project

Bees have been steadily declining since the turn of the century. Broomfield’s history, going back to the Depot Museum Honey House, show’s how bees were a strong part of the local ecology and economy. Bees are necessary for the pollination of 35% of global agriculture. Partnering with local beekeepers, the Colorado State Beekeepers Association (formed n 1880), FlowHive, Scouts, and Schools, to put bee colonies in more residential areas and on select Open Space areas.
